Directions
Either by land, or by air, getting to the Ocoee Region is the easy part. We're located less than three-hour drive from six metropolitan areas - Atlanta, Birmingham, Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville and Huntsville, AL. The Ocoee River is the closest whitewater rafting to all locations in Florida as well as New Orleans, Memphis, Tampa, Miami and Little Rock. See our approximate driving times and distances for more details.

Getting around in the Ocoee Region is beautiful. The road up Chilhowee Mountain offers stunning views of the Lake Ocoee and the Cohutta Mountains. Drive back down and go east and wind up Hwy. 30 to Reliance and the Hiwassee River. From here you can continue along the river or go across the bridge and head north up Hwy 315 - both are lovely. For a longer drive take Hwy 68 north from Ducktown to Tellico Plains. US Forest Service roads really take you off the beaten path onto gravel and even through streams at times.
Approximate Driving Times and Distances
