Whitewater rafting, mountain biking, rock climbing or hiking, whatever your passion, it can work up an appetite. Every restaurant in the Ocoee Region can fill your need.

As you would expect barbecue takes center stage and people in the area take pride in having the best, but there's something for almost everyone if you choose carefully. Mexican and oriental restaurants are located in Cleveland and McCaysville. If you're vegetarian, almost everyone will try to accommodate, but The Vine in Benton specializes in vegetarian cooking.

When you go to an outdoor mecca like the Ocoee Region, having food served outdoors is that much more enjoyable. Many of the restaurants cater and will serve groups if planned in advance. Or, to do your own, grocery stores are located in Cleveland, Benton, Ducktown and McCaysville.

Oh, and if you like a glass of wine or mixed drink with your meal you might want to plan ahead and bring your own. Call your restaurant in advance and make sure you can "brown bag". Most restaurants do serve beer. Also, beer cannot be sold on Sunday except in Cleveland and there only between noon and 6pm. Plan ahead and you'll have a wonderful dining experience in the Ocoee Region.
