Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Read House is known for its Georgian architectural style and deeply Southern elegance. The quarter-sawed English walnut paneling, old-fashioned drop mailboxes and elevator dials, and terrazzo-poured marble floors give the lobby the feel of a museum or library. The hotel is located across the street from a downtown shuttle stop, where a free shuttle carries guests from the Tennessee Aquarium to the Chattanooga Choo-Choo and other attractions. <br> All rooms are elegantly appointed and designed to meet your every need with the utmost discretion and taste.
